A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Medical Lab Scientist II Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire Duration: 10 months Location: Pensacola, FL 32504 Shift : 3rd shift. Wed ? Wed.8:30pm ? 7am. Work 8 10-hour days and off for 6 days. As a Medical Lab Scientist II, your responsibilities At least 2 years of experience Be able to work multiple benches Familiar with Haematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Coag. Prefer a Technologist and not a technician. Qualification Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college or university WITH at least 1 year of training or experience in specialty in which testing will be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology. 90 Semester hours from an accredited institution that include the following: 16 semester hours of Biology courses, 16 Semester ours of chemistry [must include atleast 6 hours of inorganic Chemistry], and 3 Semester hours of Math- along with having completed an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented Clinical Laboratory Associate's degree in medical technology.
