Job Description: Per Diem CT Technologist - Breast and Imaging Center Join our Radiology team at BAIC ! We are seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist at our freestanding outpatient facility located in NY, NY. Role Overview: Perform a variety of CT/ Bone Density and X-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups. Bone Density will be taught and training provided onsite. Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices. Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral). Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards. Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems. Perform general radiology procedures. Key Qualifications: Associate’s Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school. ARRT in Radiography and CT Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems. NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification Core Skills: Effective communication skills Self-motivated and results-oriented Desire for personal growth and readiness to tackle challenges Strong attention to detail Team-oriented Additional Information: Location: 300 East 66 th St- Breast & Imaging Center - New York, New York Schedule: Per Diem as needed Reporting to the Manager, Diagnostic Radiology Pay Range : $60.00-$65.00/hr.
