Since 1989, we've dedicated ourselves to providing the Best Customer Service, Technical Support, and Product Quality available within the industries we serve.Job Summary DescriptionThe Production Coordinator / Administrator maintains customer service relations, purchasing activities, production scheduling, and shipping logistics. The current work schedule is 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime as required.1. Coordinates and communicates customers requirements between corporate customer service representatives and production management, as well as occasional direct interaction with customers.
2. Manages customer sales orders and schedules shipments per customers requirements.
3. Maintains MRP System and spreadsheets for production scheduling and shipping purposes.
4. Confirms sales orders are entered and billed correctly.
5. Establishes and maintains relationships with external providers (suppliers), freight brokers, and freight carriers.
6. Process 4 Owner: Purchasing.
7. Manages all purchasing activities between external providers, corporate office, PMP Production Manager, and PMP General Manager.
8. Negotiates pricing for purchasing of items for the manufacturing facility.
9. Maintains customer, purchasing, and production files.
10. Operates in accordance with PMP QMS and IATF 16949:2016.
11. Public relations as needed.
12. Complies with all PMP Quality, Safety, and housekeeping standards.
13. Duties may vary and be defined on a day-to-day basis, as needed.Skills/QualificationHigh School Diploma, typing, and aptitude in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel software. College Degree is preferred. Good written, telephone, and verbal skills. Knowledge of general office equipment is required. Good attendance and punctuality are required.
