We are hiring a RPC Sr. Investment Analyst. is an integral part of
the Retirement Plan Consulting team and will work with various team
members, advisors and other areas of the company to facilitate the
delivery of investment consulting services for WEGs retirement plan
clients. The Sr. Investment Analysis provides investment
monitoring, replacement and support for both defined contribution
and defined benefit plans.
Job Functions
* Support the development of client deliverables including
investment policy statements, asset allocation studies, investment
manager structure and selection analysis, investment performance
reports, retirement plan diagnostics and fee analyses
* Take primary responsibility for investments in support of
RPC/Advisor specific client relationships.
* Develop client-meeting materials with appropriate focus and
attention to detail
* Participate in client meetings, discussions, and delivery of
related materials
* Support multiple assignments from an operational standpoint
* Set up and maintain investment lineups, facilitates investment
changes and provides investment support to advisor teams across the
broader organization
* Identify and research new investment opportunities that may be
beneficial to offer clients to stay in the forefront of bringing
new solutions to them
* Develop, monitors and periodically reviews retirement plan
investment offerings and conduct periodic internal committee
meeting discussions
* Formulate target return and risk-based portfolios using internal
capital market assumptions and asset allocation tools.
* Conduct peer review of client materials to ensure quality of
deliverables
* Submit and follow-up on trade execution (mutual funds) as
directed by consultants and clients
* Review trade confirmations to confirm trade execution consistent
with client instructions
* Document investment minutes from internal and client committee
meetings
* Prepares client investment analytics and recommendations for new
and existing RPC clients
* Review and document client fee analysis documents
* Assist in vendor transitions for clients
* Ideal candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding
environment and will be a "self-starter" working continuously under
tight deadlines
Travel Requirement: As requested by management
Education - Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics or related field from
an accredited university
* 2+ years of experience in the investment industry developing
analysis in support of institutional clients
* CFA designation (or passed CFA Level I Exam) or Completed
Master's degree
* Knowledge of retirement plans a plus
* Ability to manage workload towards weekly goals in a "results
only" environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management, organizational skills and ability to
multi-task
* High level of critical thinking
* Coachable and committed to professional development
* Strong MS Office skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with Adobe Acrobat
