Event Truck Driving

GreenDrop is looking for qualified applicants to fill the
Special Event Coordinator position!
In this role, you will work as both an Attendant and a Driver for
our drop off sites.
In order to be considered for this position you must meet all job
requirements listed under role 1 and 2. This position is hourly and
compensation is based on experience.
Role 1: Attendant
As a GreenDrop Attendant, your goal is to provide excellent service
to donors while ensuring that safety is at the forefront of
everything you do. At GreenDrop you always put the donor first and
ensure a quick and efficient donation experience.
•Effectively and intelligently interact with donors regarding
charities and GreenDrop •Record and retain information on an IPAD
•Acquire donations from donors and stack donations according to
company procedure •Must be willing and open to help in special
assignment issued by management •Ability to work at any assigned
location in the Region
•Must be able to work Sundays - Thursdays* (Days subject to change)
•Must be proficient in reading and writing •Able to load and unload
trucks repeatedly •Must have a High School Diploma or GED •Must be
able to lift 50lbs consistently all day •Positive Attitude,
Punctual, Self-Starter •Must be able to acquire direction and
follow process •Must be proficient in Apple IOS platform.
Role 2: Driver
GreenDrop Special Event Coordinators (drivers) will be asked to
work on Saturday and Sunday from (8a.m.-4.p.m) The weekend
activities will include driving a box truck from our Bensalem
trucking depot to special clothing drives within the Philadelphia
area. Once the Special Event Coordinator (Driver) arrives to the
location he or she will begin collecting donations and interacting
with the donors. When the event is over the Special Event
Coordinator (Driver) will drive back to the depot In Bensalem and
offload the product they collected.* (Times subject to change)Other
duties will including traveling to GreenDrop locations and loading
merchandise from the site onto box trucks then transporting the
desired destination with in our network.
•Safe and careful operation of a commercial vehicle •Ability to
work independently and effectively •Strong motivation and
willingness to work •Ability to lift 50 pounds safely and
consistently •Willingness to work outdoors year round in all
weather conditions •Strong communication skills •Effectively and
intelligently interact with donors regarding charities and
GreenDrop •Record and retain information •Acquire donations from
donors and stack donations according to company procedure •Must be
willing and open to help in special assignment issued by
•Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of submitting
application •Must hold valid driver's license issued by the
applicant's state of residence •Must complete DOT physical and
functional capacity testing •Clean motor vehicle record with No DUI
or other disqualifying offences •Must be proficient in reading and
writing •Able to load and unload trucks •Must have High School
Diploma or GED •Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently •Positive
attitude, punctual, self-starter•Must be able to acquire direction
and follow process
Sign on bonus $400, payable if the employee stays for 60 days.
Referral bonus of $200 for the referring employee assuming the new
employee stays at least 60 days.
