Spherion staffing is seeking a baler Operator for our client located in Elizabeth, NJ.Responsibilities:- Adhering to all safety and health rules, as well as all other plant policies, procedures, and guidelines- Gaining knowledge and operating the balers safely and efficiently.- Ensuring cleanliness and safety in the facility by properly maintaining the surroundings of the baler.-Daily lite maintenance of the balers (lubrication of tracks, gain working knowledge of wire tie and how to make minor adjustments throughout your shift)-Familiarizing yourself with various commodities and production criteria.-Assist in other areas of the operation when required.Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMSkills:- Recycling knowledge- Knowledge of or operating baler equipmentEducation:No Degree RequiredExperience:0-1 yearsQualifications:- Willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed- Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment-Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.-Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipmentText the word "Baler" to 908-725-6600 or give us a call for more information.Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
