Network Manager is responsible for the strategic planning,
implementation, and operational oversight of the organization's
network infrastructure. This includes LAN/WAN, wireless, voice, and
data systems across corporate offices, distribution centers, and
retail locations. The role ensures high availability, security, and
performance of all network services to support business continuity
and growth. Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide network
infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and
wireless systems. Oversee daily network operations, ensuring
uptime, performance, and security across all locations. Lead
network-related projects including upgrades, expansions, and
migrations. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and
ensure SLA compliance. Perform yearly reviews, set goals and design
training paths for direct reports Develop and maintain network
documentation, topology maps, and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application
teams to ensure secure and integrated operations. Monitor network
performance and proactively address issues using automation and
analytics tools. Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of network
engineers and support staff. Stay current with emerging
technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business
goals. Qualifications Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from
two-year college or technical school; or five to seven years
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience. 7 years of experience in network
engineering or administration, with at least 5 years in a
leadership role managing multiple direct reports. Strong knowledge
of Cisco, Meraki, or similar enterprise networking platforms.
Familiarity with network automation tools and monitoring platforms.
Knowledge of PC/Laptop computers, android and ios mobile devices.
Knowledge of computer hardware, Hubs and switches, Cisco routers,
SAN, Printers, and LAN cabling on an Ethernet Topology. Extensive
knowledge of TCP/IP services such as DHCP, WINS, DNS and active
directory. Familiar with SDWAN/WAN concepts and execution, VPN
concentrators, network switches, routers and firewalls. Experience
with Cloud connectivity options, specifically Azure Express Route.
Knowledge of networking configurations for container environments
such as Kubernetes. High level of analytical ability to collect and
examine technical data to resolve implementation and support
issues. Ability to create performance baselines and network
diagrams. Good customer service and human relations skills and be
personable. Patience and motivation as well as the ability to
maintain control in stressful situations. Must be extremely
trustworthy. Ability to work well with all levels and function as a
team member. Strong communication skills. The pay range reflects
the potential base salary range for this role. Individual base pay
is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and
skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position. Pay
Range $145,000 - $160,000 per year
