Job Title- Database Administrator
Job Location- Los Angeles, CA(Initial Remote)

Job Description:

• 
  
• Change Request management.
  
• Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability.
  
• Administer production and development databases, ensuring maximum availability.
  
• Installation and configuration of Sybase All the versions Sybase Server Migration Upgrade
  
• Applying DB Server Patching
  
• Should have working experience Sybase Server security
  
• Should have working experience Sybase Server Policy management and Resource governing
  
• Demonstrable experience of working effectively with Clients, Internal teams to resolve issues.
  
• Good knowledge in Shell scripting
  
• Good exposure in Database Performance Tuning.
  
• Should have working experience with at least 2 HA solution and 2 DR solutions
  
• Should have good understanding about all HA and DR solution for Sybase Server
  
• Should have a good understanding about Linux Windows Environment.
  
• Good to have experience on Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google etc. Basic Qualifications
  
• 8 years of experience in Sybase database administration. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  
• Minimum Six years of work experience in Sybase Database administration activities Additional Qualifications
  
• Strong database troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
  
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Strong time management skills ADDED ADVANTAGES: Experience operating and scaling a service in AWS Azure Open stack i.e. S3, EBS, EC2, ELB, RDS, EMR.
  
• Programming (Perl, power shell).
