Job Description:

As part of the iCIMS Customer Training team, the Training Specialist will be responsible for delivering and maintaining training on the iCIMS product line for iCIMS customers and partners. The Training Specialist will collaborate with other members of the team to deliver training in a variety of formats, which may include instructor-led, virtual, and classroom-based training; eLearning tutorials; webinars; and other training formats. The Training Specialist will report to the Director, Customer Training.

  • Maintains high level user knowledge and familiarity of business practices of most iCIMS products and services
  • Delivers engaging and professional instructor-led training (ILT) content within a virtual blended environment, onsite sessions, and occasional custom training setting, for iCIMS customers and partners - all suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience in an engaging and inclusive manner
  • Maintains a strong understanding of iCIMS products--regularly engaging in release processes, and update of content aligning with product release cycles
  • Leverages current facilitation techniques, in line with Adult Learning Methodology, to create an engaging experience for learners at all levels of proficiency
  • Delivers training and instruction in accordance with defined training needs, identifies objectives, prepares training materials, and provides instruction in a general training program or assigned training subject area.
  • Evaluates product training changes by attending product spotlight meetings, reviewing product specs., release notes and program overviews, making the appropriate training content inclusion recommendations
  • Keeps abreast of industry news, current and trending facilitation techniques, and competitive offerings
  • May occasionally develop course instruction to address a specific training or program need
  • Assists in the production of web-based videos and learning tools
  • Maintains high degree of familiarity with current programs and conducts adhering to established training standards and protocols.
  • Assists in internal and external communication and relationship management around training events
  • Maintains a high level of facilitation skills in an engaging and professional manner
  • Other projects as assigned
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience delivering training, with a demonstrated proficiency in technical training within a SAAS environment.
    • Experience with facilitating customer training within a corporate environment
    • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability, and extreme attention to detail
    • Must be-- able to work a flexible schedule as the work demands based on a global customer base
    • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed with an ability to learn quickly and autonomously
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: able to articulate thoughts and ideas (technical and non-technical) clearly, concisely, and persuasively
    • Ability to contribute to an extremely collaborative team environment, with a range of personailty types at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to think outside the box and develop solutions that may not be immediately obvious
    • Ability to plan, undertake, and finish activities to achieve high quality results within set deadlines
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, adhere to project plans, and adapt frequently as dictated by the changing nature of software
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
