Job Description:
The mission of the CBH Information Technology Department is to
provide innovative support for our employees, members, and provider
networks. The exciting growth of this department has continued to
create opportunities for candidates in the technology field,
including an opening for a Trainer and Documentation Specialist to
join CBH. The Trainer and Documentation Specialist will be
responsible for developing and delivering training programs for the
organization. This role will plan, develop, organize, write and
edit operational procedures as well as the creating and maintaining
of high-quality documentation to support our employees, clients,
and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong
communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to
translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly materials.
Essential Functions:
- Works with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding
of the processes and the documentation requirements.
- Produces high-quality easy to understand materials (policies
and procedures, training material guidelines) that meet applicable
standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Analyze and update existing and potential content to best meet
the needs of the appropriate teams while maintaining continuity of
style of content.
- Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to
different audiences technical and non-technical, including new
hires, existing employees, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver technical training programs according to
department requirements, determining course content according to
objectives, executing training sessions, webinars, workshops
etc.
- Determine overall effectiveness of documentation and training
programs.
- Work with IT staff to analyze software releases, develop a
course curriculum for its demonstrations and provide required
training for the same.
- Develop and maintain instructional materials such as user
guides, manuals, FAQs, and online help documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and adheres to
company standards and branding guidelines.
- Regularly update and revise training materials and
documentation to reflect new policies, technologies, and best
practices.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies
to continuously improve training and documentation
processes.Education & Skill Requirements:
- While having a Degree in an IT or related field is preferred,
CBH will also consider candidates who have combination of
coursework and experience, or who have extensive related
professional experience as a technical documentation writer and
functional trainer.
- Minimum 3 years experience in an IT training and documentation
role, with an emphasis on software, hardware, and network
documentation.
- An ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make
them easily understandable in text and visuals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to present to
large groups of people at a time.
- Skillful in using presentation tools such as handouts,
presentations, virtual software, and videos to make effective and
engaging presentations.
- Proficient in video editing and apply voice over to training
material.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- The successful candidate must be a current Philadelphia
