Job Description:
Don's Prepared Foods is the leading manufacturer on the East
Coast of prepared gourmet deli salads, gourmet cream cheese
spreads, dips, entr--e's and more.Don's is a family-owned business
and manufactures over 130 products spanning across its three brands
Don's Salads, Melanie's Medleys and Artisan Deli. We are currently
hiring a Customer Service Supervisor at our Schwenksville, PA food
manufacturing plant. Job responsibility:To oversee a team of
Customer Service Representatives, ensuring high-quality customer
support and satisfaction. This role involves managing daily
operations, training, and development of the team, while also
directly addressing customer and sales team members inquiries and
needs. Job Duties:Lead and supervise the orders team members &
receptionist providing direction, guidance, and support. Manage
customer information in the company ERP software including;
customer catalogs, prices and price adjustments .Directly
responsible for customer promotion tracking and
maintenance.Directly responsible for EDI orders processing.Guide
the scheduling of customer delivery appointments to assure accuracy
& fulfillment.Ensure team members receive adequate training on
company policies, procedures, and customer service best practices.
Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback, and
assisting with conducting performance reviews. Set customer service
goals and objectives for the team and hold them accountable for
achieving them. Address customer and sales team members inquiries
and concerns directly, ensuring timely and effective resolution of
issues. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance
customer service efficiency and effectiveness.Monitor key
performance indicators (KPIs) such as response time, resolution
rate, and customer satisfaction. Prepare reports on customer
service performance to track progress and identify areas for
improvement. Working with other departments (e.g., sales,
marketing, product) to improve the overall customer experience.
Manage the budget for the customer service department. Ensure
adherence to company policies and procedures. Staying up-to-date on
industry trends and best practices in customer service.
Competencies:Must be self-motivated and have an outgoing
personality with excellent people skills. Provides exceptional
customer service and uses prompt and responsive follow-through.
Excellent phone skills and taking phone etiquette very seriously.
Ability to manage more than one call at a time. Knowledge of and
the ability to follow all established emergency procedures,
especially the responsibility to call 911 in the event of an
emergency. Able to be an active listener and relay information
accurately to others. Strong interpersonal skills being courteous
and helpful.Prioritizes, plans, and uses time efficiently.
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness, monitors
own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve
performance. Meet deadlines. Adapts to changes, manages demand and
can deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.A well
