Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring a focus on patient safety and high-quality care. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming an individualized plan of care. /n - Identify teaching needs and collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team. /n - Provide timely patient information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions. /n - Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, focusing on patient education and achieving quality outcomes. /n - Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and anticipate teaching needs. /n - Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to support continuity of care. /n - Provide direction and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, utilizing effective problem-solving techniques. /n - Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to hospital and nursing policies. /n - Contribute positively to unit functioning and engage in team-building activities. /n - Assume charge responsibility following the orientation period as requested. /n - Seek professional growth through continuing education and self-study. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. /n - ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY). /n - Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience required. /n - Minimum of one (1) year of ICU experience highly desired. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
