A school psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Barre, VT, offering a structured, full-time contract role. This opportunity involves providing crucial psychological services within a school setting, supporting student success, and collaborating with educational staff to address diverse student needs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop effective intervention strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies Qualifications: Must meet all current state licensure and certification requirements for school psychologists Experience working directly with students in educational settings preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders Ability to work in-person on-site for the duration of the contract Commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality Position Details: Location: Barre, VT Contract Dates: August 28, 2026 June 18, 2027 Hours per week: 37.5 Caseload to be determined post internal postings and discussed during the interview process This role emphasizes direct, hands-on involvement with students and educational teams, providing an environment conducive to professional growth and meaningful impact.
