This role is ideal for technologists trained and competent in two or more imaging modalities, with the flexibility to support departmental needs across qualified areas. Qualified Modalities May Include: General Diagnostic Radiology CT MRI Mammography Interventional Radiology Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine / PET Available Positions Full-Time Position Shift: Day Shift Hours: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM Per Diem Position Shift: Weekend Coverage Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday) Responsibilities A day in the life of a Multi-Modality CT Technologist includes: Perform complex CT procedures following established protocols Evaluate radiographs to ensure proper identification and diagnostic quality Gather and review relevant patient medical information to ensure safety and accurate imaging protocols Verify patient preparation prior to procedures Prepare patients for scanning (shielding, immobilization, positioning) Assist providers with CT-guided interventional procedures as required Administer contrast and perform CT examinations per protocol Provide clear patient education and address questions or concerns Perform venipuncture, IV maintenance, and monitoring during procedures Monitor patient condition throughout imaging procedures Review images and perform additional scans when clinically appropriate Conduct retrospective reconstruction on imaging data Provide technical instruction to students and staff as needed Follow Image Gently & Image Wisely principles Maintain infection control and sterile technique standards Adjust scanning parameters to optimize diagnostic visualization Document patient and diagnostic data accurately Archive images according to departmental guidelines Perform modality-specific quality assurance procedures Utilize EPIC, PACS, scheduling systems, and related software Provide excellent patient interaction using AIDET service standards Administer emergency care, including CPR if necessary Complete assigned clerical and operational duties Maintain compliance with organizational policies and professional standards Lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods Qualifications Education & Skills High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite) Required Licenses & Certifications NJ State License – Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.) ARRT registration in one or more modalities: CT MRI (or ARMRIT) X-Ray IR Mammography NJ State License & Certification in Nuclear Medicine (if applicable) AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Prosperity Workforce Solutions Inc.
