agency public holidays not included Position Overview "Navitas
Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant
Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Behavioral Health
department at a healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY. This
leadership role plays a key part in advancing quality improvement
initiatives, supporting nursing leadership, and ensuring the
delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care within a
behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
strong clinical expertise, effective leadership skills, and a
commitment to excellence in behavioral health services. Key
Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement initiatives to
improve patient care outcomes and nursing staff performance.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate patient care performance metrics in
collaboration with Nurse Managers. Conduct unit assessments and
implement corrective actions to address identified gaps. Develop,
maintain, and oversee documentation and tracking systems related to
medication errors and staff counseling. Ensure compliance with all
regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. Provide
leadership, mentorship, and ongoing guidance to nursing staff
within the Behavioral Health department. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience , including at least 5
years in a supervisory or leadership role . Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license with Primary Source Verification through the New York
State Department of Education (NYSED) . Current BLS certification .
Demonstrated experience working in a Behavioral Health setting .
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing or a related
