Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ambulatory Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuroscience Ambulatory/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Full-time schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, five days per week. No weekends, holidays, or on-call required. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills and provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. The RN directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Assess comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation. /n - Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. /n - Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care with the healthcare team. /n - Provide ongoing communication with patients and families regarding status and care plans. /n - Perform medication administration using advancements in bar-scanning technology. /n - Evaluate progress toward patient outcomes and initiate interventions as necessary. /n - Identify ethical issues and respond to opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction. /n - Maintain competencies, certifications, and continuing education as required. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire. /n - At least six months of relevant nursing experience, or active participation in a Nurse Residency Program. /n - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey required. /n - BLS certification mandatory. /n - Experience in neurology and epilepsy is highly preferred. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
