Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in tailored rehabilitation therapy services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of our physical therapists to help patients recover and improve their physical abilities. This position offers a chance to work in diverse healthcare settings, ensuring each patient's care plan is effectively implemented to achieve optimal outcomes. Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care to manage pain and improve physical functions. Implement patient treatment plans as established by the primary physical therapist, focused on exercises, stretching maneuvers, and hands-on therapy. Use devices and equipment to support patient therapy and measure progress. Provide education and insights on patient condition and home exercises. Record and report on patient's response to therapy and progress to the supervising therapist. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, family, and other healthcare team members. Knowledge of standard practices, procedures, and equipment utilized in therapy. Ability to follow physical therapy treatment plans and operate therapy devices skillfully. Capability to handle physical demands of the job, including extensive standing, bending, and lifting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 401k Valid state Physical Therapist Assistant license. CPR certification is preferred.
