Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/28/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Queens, NY 11432 Shift : 12am -8am Duration: 13 Weeks Pay rate: $70.00 - $ 75.00 per hour on W2 Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Radiology Diagnostic team at Queens Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CT equipment and the necessary licensure and certifications. This role requires dedication to patient care, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently within a clinical environment. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform computed tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and image quality. Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver diagnostic imaging services. Follow infection control and radiation safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Commit to the schedule provided by the facility to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or in a related role. Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Radiation Therapy Technologist issued by NYSDOH. Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Familiarity with relevant CT imaging equipment and technology.
