Job Details Interventional GI specialist will provide personalized comprehensive care in the inpatient setting. Provider will be responsible for providing high quality patient care for our patients requiring interventional endoscopy consultation, including appropriate advanced GI procedures with a focus on Interventional Gastroenterology. Procedures: ERCP Colonoscopy Acute pancreatitis Barrett’s esophagus Bleeding in digestive tract Esophageal varices Gallstones GAVE (gastric antral vascular ectasia) Lesions in digestive tract Pancreatic cyst Swallowing problems Obstruction/tumors in the esophagus, duodenum, or colon Argos Plasma Coagulation for Vascular ectasia Band Ligation for Esophageal Varices Cystogastrostomy for pancreatic cyst Endoscopic Mucosal Resection Endoscopic Pancreatic Necrosectomy for Acute Pancreatitis ERCP Endoscopic suturing EUS EndoRotor Enternal Stent Placement/Removal Enteroscopy for GI bleeding HALO PEG feeding tube placement/removal Candidate Requirements: BC/BE in Gastroenterology Specialized training in Advanced/Interventional Endoscopy NJ licensed or eligible for licensure 2 years out of fellowship is preferred Job Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care services at the main Hospital campus Participate in call coverage Provide administrative support, as necessary for improving endoscopy services, efficiency, and quality of services Interested in hearing more?
