Job Description:
Summary:
A Registered Professional Nurse provides patient care through
assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsible for prescribing, delegating, supervising, and
evaluating patient teaching and ancillary staff activities while
maintaining professional nursing standards. Capable of delivering
both direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements:
Educational qualification as a graduate of a State Board School of
Nursing or equivalent. Preferred 12 months of experience. Current
nursing license in Texas. Completing required certifications: AHA
BLS (within 2 weeks), medication competence (within 2 weeks),
computer competence (within 4 weeks), medication exam (within 12
weeks), basic dysrhythmia (if applicable, within 12 weeks), TNCC
(within 6 months for MICU/Neuro ICU), critical care classes (within
16 weeks), ACLs (within 16 weeks), and phlebotomy/point of care
(within 4 weeks). Full-time work.
