THE POSITION

Hospital is seeking a Forensic Psychological Services Associate to

psychological services to forensic patients who are either deemed
incompetent to stand trial, awaiting sentencing, facing psychiatric
challenges that affect their prison adjustment, or have been found

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Forensic Psychological Services Associate, you will address
psychiatric issues to ensure the effective management of
referral-related forensic cases. Your clinical decisions will
involve selecting the most appropriate psychological treatment
interventions, determining the structure and focus of therapy
sessions, and customizing positive reinforcement programs to meet
the needs of individual patients or specific wards. In this
position, you will perform initial assessments of new admissions,
evaluate their treatment needs, and develop and implement therapy
programs tailored to those needs. You can expect to complete all
necessary documentation in compliance with departmental and
regulatory standards. Additionally, you will participate in
forensic building meetings and supervisory sessions to stay up to
date with forensic policies and procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5
hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday,
with a 30-minute lunch.Overtime and travel as neededTelework: You
will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In
some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:A
Master's Degree in psychology or a closely related field which
includes fifteen credits in Psychology.Applicants will be
considered to have met the educational requirements once they are
within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a
medical examination and drug screening.This position falls under
the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.Under the
Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and
approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but
not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
