Patient Ratio: 1:1 w/ 2nd stage labor and C/S circulating and post-anesthesia stage 1, 1:3-4 in triage (agency not usually assigned in triage but may be asked to assist with charge RN), Early labor 1:2-3, Active labor 1:2--- 2-3 years of experience required--- First time travelers are not accepted--- Travel pairs are not accepted... Every other weekend required; Must work Labor Day and 1 winter holiday... BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN FHM Intermediate Level required--- May float to Mother/Baby... No block scheduling... Locals accepted... NJ RN license required upon start... Special Requirements: Antepartum care (Use of EFM, assist with sterile speculum exam, NSTS, and OCTs); External fetal monitoring, use of IUPC, and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns; Strong exp with IVs (No PICC lines); Managing and administering antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and pain medications; Circulate for c-section required, scrub for c-section highly pref; Neonatal Care in Delivery Room...
