Urgent need for Surgical NP/PA for Elizabeth, New Jersey LocationJob Details:PA with Surgical experience or NP. If NP, they do not need RNFA certificate, but they must have a surgical background. ACLS and BLS required!NJ License and DEA and CDS currentSpecialty: Surgery- MUST have surgical backgroundWeekend coverage is in-houseNPs can first assist if they have their RNFA certificate, also some NP programs if they are surgical NP have assisting competency as part of their programAnticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes: General, vascular, thoracic surgical procedures as first assist. Anticipated volume per day 3-8 proceduresDescription of Work Assignment Initial consults for surgery, follow ups for consults, bedside procedures, OR procedures, and post op follow ups.Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days: No outpatient workSchedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours: 7a,-7pm or 7pm-7amOn call? No but optionalPatient Load: 3-15 patient encounters per dayBoard Status Requirement (BC/BE): Must be board certifiedIs there additional support staff? NoIs the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? Collaborating surgeon. We have 6-7 General surgeons., 4 vascular surgeons at the moment, and 1-2 Thoracic surgeons.Trauma Level of Work Location Not a trauma centerEMR System?
