minimum of 7 business daysResponsibilities:Oversees all functions
related to delivery of pharmacy services and develop, recommend,
and implement pharmacy policies and proceduresEnsures pharmacy
operations are compliant with hospital policies and
proceduresEnsures pharmacy operations are in compliance with state
and federal laws and regulationsEnsures pharmacy operations are in
compliance with other regulatory bodies (The Joint Commission, EPA,
FDA, and DEA)Completes Pharmacy Operational Reviews at a minimum
quarterly with Hospital AdministrationOrders pharmaceuticals as
needed to maintain inventory levelsProvides training and guidance
to personnel to ensure quality of patient care and high level of
customer satisfactionRemains knowledgeable of the latest research
developments concerning new drugs and drug usageMaintains contact
with other department needs, medical staff, and nursing staff to
determine needs, resolve problems, improve processes and promote
effective drug therapyLeads and directs the work of othersDevelops
staff in a mentoring and coaching wayRelies on extensive experience
and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsUse of a wide degree of
creativity and latitude is expectedPerforms other tasks as

degree in Pharmacy requiredMaster of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D
preferredAt least three (3) years of experience in discipline
requiredTen years of experience in discipline preferredKnowledge of
principals related to pharmaceutical preparation and
practicesLicensed Pharmacist listed by the State Board of
PharmacyTwo years experience as a pharmacistMinimum one year
management experienceStrong leadership skillsSalary Range: USD
