Job Description:
A company is looking for a Provider Payment Strategy Manager to
oversee provider reimbursement methodologies and manage staff in
the Payment Strategy Department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the advancement of provider reimbursement methodologies to
align with organizational strategies
Evaluate the feasibility of reimbursement methodologies using
various methods and models
Provide management oversight and guidance related to the provider
reimbursement function and mentor assigned staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Health Care,
or a related field
A minimum of eight years of experience in provider reimbursement
activities, with at least three years in a managed care
environment
Minimum of three years of management, supervisory, or lead
experience
Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies, pricing, and fee
schedules
Experience with managed care concepts, contracting, policies, and
procedures
