This is a hybrid opportunity reporting to the Finance Director in the US. Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is required along with a strong supervisory background. Responsibilities --- Monitor processing of invoices, cash applications and credit memos --- Ensure timely collection of payments to minimize unauthorized deductions --- Constantly follow up and negotiate with clients in non-payment cases --- Manages the delivery of invoices to clients either via mail, electronically, or via upload --- Prepare/develop monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports --- Creates, updates, and implements business process SOPs and the training manual as directed --- Support Accounts Receivable Clerks on daily-basis and train new team members accordingly --- Assists in managing commercial terms and milestone billings to maximize cash collections --- Conduct credit checks --- Partners with team members and management to identify and implement improvements in achieving operational efficiencies --- Liaisons with personnel to interpret and translate services performed and compare with the original quote and customer order --- Ability to quickly identify, raise, and complete root cause analysis and drive resolution to discrepancies between customer quotes and services/products performed and delivered respectively --- Reviews and updates A/R collection and deduction resolution policies and procedures to ensure bad debts and Day Sales Outstanding are controlled optimally --- Collaborate with Finance & Operations team to coordinate projects that span across the different teams --- Respond to and solve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner --- Ensure the quality and timeliness of customer service through all contact media, including email, web conferencing, live chat, phone, and other relevant channels --- Lead development, implementation, use, and maintenance of customer finance-related technology tools --- Ensures objectives, outcomes, metrics, and timeframes are in place for key projects and that key outcomes are sustainable --- Responsible for the detail oriented development of direct reports, including training and performance reviews --- Plays a leading role in driving digitalization and process improvement initiatives from development to implementation for Accounts Receivable and finance department's general projects --- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
