We strive to ensure we're fulfilling our team members' career potentials through training, skills-development, and career pathways - as our team members grow and succeed both personally and professionally, so does Hudson.The Talent Specialist role is for you, if you would enjoy: Assisting in the company's talent acquisition efforts (focusing on corporate roles), including full-cycle recruitment and onboarding Supporting the company's talent management strategy, including annual performance reviews and succession planning Working in a hybrid/home and office setting, based out of our North American headquarters in East Rutherford, NJ Talent Specialist Key Responsibilities:Recruitment/Talent Acquisition - Coordinates and leads internal and external full-cycle recruitment for corporate functions and occasionally support field operations when needed, across North America Ensures alignment directly to job requirements, including advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies, writing, posting and advertising job opportunities Creates and maintains job descriptions in consultation with Leaders. Ensures alignment with job competencies and assist Talent Coordinator with job description audits Develops selection criteria and assessment tools; assisting with screening and interviewing of applicants; and ultimately, finalizing the offer for successful candidates Full coordination of new hire onboarding process (i.e. deploying forms, ensuring background check process initiated, any first day logistics, etc.)Talent Management - Strong understanding of leading research, practices, and innovations in Talent Management to support annual reviews, objective/goal setting, succession planning, and career development Responsible for the administration and system set-up/troubleshooting of all TM initiatives Creates development plan outlines and other related materials in collaboration with subject matter experts based on identified goals and objectives. Partners closely with L&D team as needed, to execute and bring development plans to lifeTalent Specialist Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience 5+ years of prior recruiting + talent management experience in retail or other relevant industry Knowledge of recruiting and legal aspects of hiring processes, as well as excellent and effective communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via written and verbal communication with the confidence to directly interact with senior leadership and proven ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Great attention to detail and accuracy with a proactive attitude Ability to work under pressure and not be discouraged Solid analytical skills to proficiently use Microsoft Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, etc.) as well as strong background in leveraging Microsoft Office Suite (word, PowerPoint, outlook, etc.)Talent Specialist Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in SAP Success Factors Proficiency in ApplicantStack or other ATS system 2-3 years of HR experience in retail other relevant industryFor additional information on our benefits, please visit: https://www.hudsongroup.com/careers/our-perks.Depending on the location of the position, applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States or Canada for any employer.Hudson is an Equal Opportunity Employer of all qualified individuals.
