This VP, Digital Marketing & Operations position is for you, if you would enjoy:

  • Leading the digital marketing and operations for the US and Canada
  • Being responsible for driving two pillars - Dufry's regional ecommerce and loyalty program, through the screening of digital profiles in the hiring processes, the analysis of the performance of digital marketing and operations, the coordination of resources, and managing the engagements with local agencies
  • Working closely with the global Ecommerce and Loyalty Program Specialists to adjust the global strategy to the US and Canada and implement a local strategy
  • Work a hybrid schedule out of our East Rutherford, NJ office
    Key Accountabilities:
    • Lead, manage and execute cross-functional projects (programs), involving different Product Teams (eCommerce and loyalty programs)
    • Lead the planning and preparation of the roll-out of programs in a specific location, coordinating both with regional stakeholders as well as program stakeholders, ensuring alignment on dependencies and timelines
    • Lead various local product initiatives related to digital marketing, eCommerce operations, and the loyalty program while delivering other cross-functional projects and ensure coordination across Product Areas (where necessary)
    • Analyze the digital operations performance and plan future steps accordingly
    • Develop and manage the hiring process for digital profiles at local level
    • Continuously improve the cooperation between the local product teams with other stakeholders at the Group and in the Digital Unit and IT organization
    • Engage with local agencies and coordinate local resources in the digital space
      Required Qualifications:
      • Strong expertise driving digital projects and program management skills incl. task breakdown, prioritization and planning, clarification of ownership, pro-active risk management, and status monitoring
      • Deep understanding of the dynamics of the local market
      • Proven track record of leading people and teams and coordinating multiple teams in parallel in a digital environment
      • Deep understanding of core retail processes and associated technical solutions especially in the digital area (eCommerce and digital marketing)
      • Proven track record of coordinating implementation of large digital initiatives related to eCommerce, app, and loyalty programs in a retail industry company or consulting firm
      • Deep understanding in all the commercial levers to drive performance (range, price, experience, marketing)
      • Demonstrable experience coordinating SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
      • 7+ years of digital marketing and operations experience

        • Previous experience in travel retail
