HR DIRECTORThe Reformed Church Home, located in Old Bridge, New Jersey, is one of the most highly rated skilled care, senior living communities in the state of New Jersey!We are currently seeking an (HR) Human Resources Director (Assisted Living / Skilled Care Facility).The successful candidate will possess the following background, experience and competencies:Must have at least 3 year of experience in Assisted Living / Skilled Care Facility.Develops policies, programs and procedures that support and guide all levels of managers in recruiting, hiring, training, counseling, and developing employees.Shares responsibility with the organization for retaining high performance employees through the implementation and administration of competitive employee benefit programs and effective communications programs.Responsible for helping to build a high-performance organization which requires balance between the need for policies that ensure regulatory compliance and creating good relations with all managers and employees.In addition, this position serves as a resource for current regulatory information with the responsibility for distributing updates to the appropriate individuals and for monitoring and ensuring the company's compliance with federal and state labor relations.Serves as a supportive resource to employees with questions or concerns regarding personnel matters.TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment, FMLA, NJ FLA, wage and hour and compensation regulations.Experience with working with ADP Workforce Now.Ability to write in an effective manner to develop policies and various other employee communications.Working knowledge of current industry practices with compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employee, management, and board members.General knowledge of supervisory practices and skills.Knowledge of Healthcare Regulations (Cullen Law, Peggy's Law, LGBTQ)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDevelop and maintain personnel policies and procedures for the Reformed Church Home; obtain approvals as required from the management team, and the Personnel Committee of the BoardEnsure compliance with all federal and state laws that relate to employment practices.Facilitate the implementation of a management system and provide support for system which may include development of and updates to job descriptions, performance appraisals and other coaching tools.Administer current company benefit programs and develop recommendation on changes.Facilitate the recruitment process to assist managers in the employee selection process; administer the hiring and pre-placement processes in conjunction with department managers.Participate as appropriate in all hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations in collaboration with department managers.Administer current wage and salary programs in conjunction with department manager; monitor the competitiveness of current programs and make recommendations as appropriate.Maintain all personnel records and the employee handbook.Coordinate employee orientation programs as needed.Performs other duties and attends meetings as assigned.Job Type: Full-timeVery Generous Paid Time Off and Health Benefits offered: 15 Days Paid Vacation5 Days Paid Sick2 Days Paid Personal8 Paid HolidaysHealth insuranceDental insuranceEmployer Paid Life InsuranceHealthcare spending or reimbursement accounts such as HSAs or FSAsShort Term Disability Insurance403B with MatchEducation assistance or tuition reimbursementJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:Assisted Living / Skilled Care Facility: 3 years (Required)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
