Title: Sr. Information Security Engineer
Position type: Full Time - Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC/Iselin, NJ

As Sr. Information Security Engineer, You would:Manage and optimize security automation tools, with a primary focus on SCA solutions such as Checkmarx One and BlackDuck, including regular upgrades and operational support.
Interface with internal teams including ServiceNow AVR, DevOps, and vulnerability operations to ensure SCA vulnerabilities are accurately identified, recorded, and remediated in accordance with application security policies.
Collaborate with security architecture teams to design and implement robust vulnerability management workflows, establish best practices, and create design guidance to enhance developer experience.
Conduct security training and outreach programs for internal development teams as needed.
Perform adversarial security analysis on various application security requirements as requested by CIO teams, researching and recommending cutting-edge tools and industry best practices.
Partner with application security governance teams and risk & compliance partners on audits (e.g., SOC 2, PCI-DSS) and recommend relevant security policies.
Collaborate with CTO pipeline teams to improve code quality and vulnerability detection for Open-Source components, facilitate code signing, and support SBOM creation.
Analyze, enhance, architect, and provide support for container security tools and platforms.
Design and build advanced security solutions to strengthen open-source software supply chains, focusing on effective automation and management.

The ideal candidate will have:Experience in Information Security Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Experience as an Application Security and DevSecOps engineer, with a proven track record of collaborating with developers to adopt and mature secure development practices.
Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: .Net, C#, Java, RUST, C++.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $65 to $70 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
