SCOPE OF POSITION\:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the Platform Solutions Engineering department including but not limited to\: project management, product development, business development, leadership of department, collaboration across CS, design services.

  Project management, budgeting and resource allocation for the engineering department.

  Qualification:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    B.S. Degree (M.S. preferred) in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineering licensure (PE) and current NCEES Record, or the ability to establish this record required.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to analyze static and dynamic structures and calculate member/material stresses. -
    
    
  • 
    Ability to apply engineering concepts and interpret code as necessary for the application of our products.
    
    
  • 
    Familiarity with structural design, including steel, aluminum, and concrete.
    
    
  • 
    Responsible for product compliance with applicable testing and code provisions.
    
    
  • 
    Strong organizational skills.
    
    
  • 
    Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships. -
    
    
  • 
    Demonstrated ability to lead others. -
    
    
  • 
    Ability to use Computer--??Aided Design (CAD) System. -
    
    
  • 
    Ability to use design software, such as STAAD, MathCAD, Risa 3D etc.
