Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with
expertise in school-based settings to support students through
maternity leave coverage and itinerant services. This position
offers 35 hours per week with flexibility to consider part-time
candidates, starting as soon as possible. The role extends through
August 7, 2026, providing stability and the chance to make a
meaningful impact in the educational development of children.
Responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy
services to students in accordance with individualized education
plans (IEPs), collaborating with educational teams, and maintaining
accurate documentation. The position will initially focus on
maternity leave coverage in Lackawanna County and later transition
to providing itinerant support to students in the Dunmore, PA area.
This onsite role requires reliable transportation due to travel
between school locations. Qualified candidates will possess: -
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association - Valid Pennsylvania
Speech-Language Pathology license - Proven experience in
school-based speech-language pathology settings - Ability to obtain
and complete required Pennsylvania clearances - Strong
communication and organizational skills to effectively support
student needs The selection process includes a Zoom interview to
facilitate a smooth hiring experience. Note that this position does
not involve telepractice services, so onsite presence is mandatory.
