Job Description:
Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a dedicated and
proficient School Psychologist to join our team of educational
professionals. This role is pivotal in assessing and interpreting
the psychological and emotional needs of students and devising
actionable strategies to ensure their educational success and
emotional well-being within the school environment. Our goal is to
facilitate an inclusive educational atmosphere that caters to the
special needs of every student, allowing them to thrive both
academically and socially. Conduct psychological assessments and
interpret results to provide tailored support. Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to create comprehensive
educational plans. Implement behavior intervention strategies to
improve student outcomes. Provide direct support and counseling to
students as needed. Participate in IEP (Individualized Education
Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational
strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Stay current with the latest research in educational psychology and
integrate relevant findings into practice. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Expertise in psychological assessment tools
and techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers,
parents, and other educational staff Knowledge of special education
regulations and psychological practices Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k State certification in School Psychology. NASP
(National Association of School Psychologists) certification
preferred.
