Job Description:
We are seeking Superintendent to oversee field operations on
commercial and modular building projects from groundbreaking
through final completion. Client Details Our client is a diverse
Commercial General Contractor with projects throughout the North
East. Description Oversee all field operations and site activities,
ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance
with plans, specifications, and building codes. Coordinate and
manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site labor. Develop and
maintain project schedules, including sequencing of modular unit
delivery and installation. Conduct daily site inspections and
progress meetings to ensure quality control and job site
cleanliness. Collaborate with the project management team on
planning, logistics, and resolving construction issues. Enforce
safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety
policies. Track project performance and prepare daily field reports
and documentation. Coordinate utilities, inspections, and
permitting requirements with local jurisdictions. Manage punch list
completion and close-out procedures. Profile 5 years of experience
as a Superintendent in commercial construction. Experience with
modular construction (factory-built, prefabricated, or panelized
systems) strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction
methods, scheduling, and job site coordination. Proven ability to
lead and motivate on-site teams. Excellent communication and
problem-solving skills. Proficient in reading blueprints and
technical documents. Knowledge of construction management software
(e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project). Job Offer Competitive salary
