(CI&I) team creates impactful community outcomes and positions
Capital One as a strategically bold, innovative, and mission driven
financial institution through: Fueling strategic community
investments (e.g. grants, skills, loans) Delivering insights,
advice and resources that inform Capital One’s products and
services Activating the capabilities of “impact forward” associates
The Community Impact and Investment team supports Capital One
through making impact investment decisions, leading enterprise
volunteerism, conducting market research, fostering community
relationships, grant making, originating Community Development
Financial/Institution (CDFI) loans and partnering with and advising
LOBs. The Opportunity and Role: This role plays a critical part in
translating community insights into market strategies and
philanthropic investments that align with Capital One’s business
priorities and community impact goals. We’re seeking a Senior
Manager, who is a leader of people, with a background in strategic
impact investing to lead our Northeast team (New York City, New
Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut, Delaware and Massachusetts). This
team is charged with deeply understanding a broad array of
challenges and opportunities in the Northeast geographies and
bringing that market intelligence to bear to ensure we are
investing in high impact programs with demonstrable outcomes and
with partners to advance socioeconomic mobility in the community
while maximizing impact for Capital One’s reputation and business
agenda. You’ll lead the Northeast Market President Network strategy
and execution by serving as a trusted advisor to executives and a
problem solver, supporting the sharing of business-critical
insights, and connecting associates to Capital One’s mission. This
role involves up to 30% travel as needed. It also involves
attending events before and after normal business hours and
overnight trips / conferences. In this role, you’ll be expected to
demonstrate proficiency in two key areas: Market Strategy &
Engagement Partner with Capital One Insights Center and the
Government and Policy Advocacy team to integrate and align
community impact work with philanthropic strategy Partner with
Corporate Communications and Lines of Business for integrated
storytelling to stakeholders Attend conferences and events, build
relationships with community stakeholders, public officials, and
their staffs You will develop and drive investment strategies
across your team and multiple geographies that increasingly align
business strategy and social impact while launching holistic and
effective approaches to community investment. You will develop
actionable and strategic project plans around stakeholder insights
that define priorities for your team and influence stakeholders to
your vision You’ll lead a small team of associates through creating
and managing critical relationships with those players to
understand how Capital One shows up in our communities relative to
how we are supporting community needs and moving the needle on
socioeconomic mobility You will work collaboratively with your team
and colleagues across the entire enterprise to monitor and evaluate
risks You will provide thoughtful leadership to identify and engage
key community leaders You’ll lead the Northeast and Delaware Market
President Networks strategy by being a conduit between executives
and community, supporting the sharing of business critical updates
and connecting associates to Capital One’s mission An ideal

to identify and implement efficiencies. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience At least 5 years of
experience in process or project management, project delivery, and
strategic communications At least 3 years of experience in people
leadership Preferred Qualifications: 4 years of experience in
process management At least 1 year of experience with public
affairs Familiarity with community development, economic mobility,
or financial inclusion initiatives Experience managing large scale
philanthropic investment projects or grantmaking programs
Experience working in cross-sector partnerships involving
nonprofits, government, and private sector Excellent communication
and presentation skills, with a focus on clarity, influence, and
data-driven storytelling Experience using AI for job efficiencies
Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma

minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are
listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information
is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these
locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay
at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be
prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly
worked. New York, NY: $193,800 - $221,200 for Sr Manager, Project
Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be
subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the
actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the
time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer
letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based
incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or
long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or
