Job Description Job Description Job Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Trust & Estates Paralegal with New York probate experience, supporting estate planning and Surrogate's Court matters. Roles & Responsibilities: Draft estate planning documents including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare proxies. Assist attorneys with probate and estate administration proceedings in New York Surrogate's Court. Prepare, review, and file court documents accurately and timely. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and beneficiaries. Gather, organize, and manage financial/asset information and maintain estate files from inception through closing. Qualifications: Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, POAs, healthcare directives). Experience with New York probate and estate administration proceedings. Familiarity with preparing and filing Surrogate's Court documents; New Jersey knowledge is a plus. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple files and deadlines. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate required; prior trust & estates experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience.
