Provides education for financial literacy. CFS is working with a
long-standing client in the Fairfield County area who is looking
for a strategic and analytical leader to join our executive team as
the Vice President, Financial Analysis Officer . This role is
responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and
forecasting functions to support business strategy, performance
improvement, and executive decision-making. The VP will play a
critical role in shaping financial strategy and ensuring
data-driven insights guide the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial analysis team in
developing strategic financial models, scenario planning, and
forecasting tools. Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to
drive corporate strategy, investment analysis, and resource
allocation. Oversee budgeting, long-range planning, and variance
analysis across all departments. Identify trends, risks, and
opportunities by analyzing financial and operational data. Present
financial results and strategic insights to executive leadership
and the Board of Directors. Evaluate financial performance by
comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Design and implement processes, systems, and metrics that support
operational excellence and performance tracking. Mentor and develop
a high-performing team of financial analysts. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Product, HR) to align
financial goals with organizational objectives. Stay current on
market trends, industry benchmarks, and regulatory issues to inform
strategy. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance,
Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and
analysis, including leadership roles. Strong background in
financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning. Excellent
communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence
stakeholders at all levels. Advanced proficiency in Excel,
financial systems, and data visualization tools. Proven track
record of building and leading high-performing teams. Deep
understanding of GAAP, corporate finance, and key performance
metrics. This is a hybrid role based in Stamford, CT offering a
salary of $130,000-$155,000 depending on experience.
