Goldfinch has scaled to four continents, covering +20 different countries, and we're just getting started.As a Senior Software Engineer at Goldfinch, you will be responsible - along with our world-class engineering team - for building secure smart contracts and user-friendly web products for our customers. We follow an agile methodology, prioritize scope management, and foster a high-trust, empathetic team environment with high standards of excellence and integrity.This role is full-time, preferably based in the Bay Area. Remote work is open to the right candidate.Duties:

• Lead the design and architecture of innovative financial technology and decentralized finance projects on blockchain.
• Take ownership of the software development lifecycle, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability of applications.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect transactions and user data, complying with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers, guiding development and establishing coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement fixes to ensure system integrity and confidentiality.
• Perform code reviews, optimize systems, and apply best practices to enhance efficiency and security.Who You'll Be Working With:

• Our team comprises tech and finance veterans with experience from Coinbase, Airbnb, Morgan Stanley, Yelp, Goldman Sachs, and others, with deep crypto and emerging market lending expertise.
• We are an entrepreneurial team, many of whom have started their own companies.Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in software development roles.
  • Experience with backend and frontend programming languages, including Typescript and Python.
  • Experience with incident response, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and related tools.Benefits / Perks:
