Louis Vuitton is seeking a Finance Project & Operations Leader to be part of the LV Americas Finance Operations team.This role will report to the Head of Finance Projects & Operations and will play a critical role in driving efficiency and ensuring seamless financial processes to support our growth.This role requires strong expertise in retail finance processes, Project Management, and Financial Systems Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading finance-related projects, driving strategic initiatives, overseeing daily finance operations, and ensuring effective communication across departments.To be successful in this role, you need to be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, who enjoys working on difficult problems, has strong relationship building skills, excellent presentation and communication skills, and solid finance technical skills, possesses the ability to proactively assess obstacles, and fosters collaboration and knowledge sharing across the organization.Job responsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and drive finance-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.
  • Develop and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring comprehensive test plans and clear communication with cross-functional testers.
  • Provide daily and strategic project reporting to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Work closely with IT, Finance, and Business teams to implement innovative solutions and process improvements.
  • Lead with agility in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adaptability and responsiveness to changing business needs.
  • Drive enhancements and efficiencies in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) systems maintenance, ensuring seamless functionality and resolving operational issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Oversee user access and maintenance for the Travel & Expense (T&E) system, ensuring proper governance and security.
  • Provide strategic oversight and troubleshooting support for financial systems, working closely with LV_NEO (IS&T) teams.
  • Ensure seamless integration and continuous optimization of financial tools and platforms with operational workflows.Profile
    • 5+ years of experience in finance operations, project leadership, or a similar role in the retail industry.
    • Proven experience in leading finance projects, including UAT execution, stakeholder management, and strategic implementation.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets, analyze financial information, and derive KPIs or actionable insights to drive business decisions.
    • Ability to conduct in-depth financial investigations, identify trends, and formulate effective action plans to improve performance.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Being tech-savvy is a plus, with a strong understanding of digital tools and emerging technologies.
    • Knowledge of how AI is working and its potential impact on finance and operations.Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience in luxury retail environment
      • Experience working with IT partners to deploy production-level solutions.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving finance processes.
      • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 applications and BI tools.
