Senior Staff Auditor

Senior Auditor - Financials - Audits Reviews and Compilations

(WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR IT AUDITORS)

Responsibilities

Perform audits of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) as well as Reviews and Compilations.
Plan and execute audits.
Review and examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards.
Study, document, and evaluate the internal controls used by clients.
Ensure that auditing services are delivered consistent with client requirements and industry standards, as well as independence requirements.

Professional Requirements

Relevant public accounting experience, required.

Experience working on audits of financial statements of nonpublic companies in the following industries insurance, nonprofit, employee benefit plans, preferred.
Experience working independently on audit engagements, required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, preferred.

Required Travel - 2%
