We are looking for a *Experienced Diesel Truck Technician Mechanic in Jersey City, NJ!!**M-F, Day Shift, Full Time. Full Benefits. Up to $40/hr based on experience and certifications.*****Electrical and HVAC Experience Required****We are seeking serious and professional candidates. Candidates that are serious about their careers and the further development of it for this organization cares about their employees and wants them to be there very best!*The ideal Diesel Mechanic would have atleast 4+yrs of Diesel Mechanic experience. Someone RECENTLY experienced with overheads/valve adjustments, ATS, Diagnostics, Hydraulics and more...*Responsibilities include:* Inspect and repair heavy duty Truck and trailers to meet DOT inspection requirements* Must be able to perform overheads/valve adjustments.* Perform Preventative Maintenances (PMs) in a timely manner. Replacing items such as oil and filters, tires, and other related parts* Perform overhead tune-ups on all types of company owned heavy duty diesel engines* Diagnose electronic diesel engine control systems* Replace and/or repair air compressors, water pumps, fan hubs, belts, power steering and other external engine parts* Troubleshoot and repair heavy truck air brake systems, a/c and heating systems, electrical systems, trailer components, transmissions* Inspect trailer components and make repairs to hydraulics, and other trailer parts. May perform some welding* Enter data (inspections, repairs, work orders, etc.) into shop labor system (TMT) accurately and timely* Communicate with internal customers and shop associatesApply TODAY and join our ELITE Team!We are conducting interviews this week and are eager to welcome a skilled Experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician to our family.
